“It seems that tea finds its own master.

After searching the warehouse for two days for the “guanyincha,”
Brother Lin happened to arrive in the evening—and found it right away.
He asked, “What tea is this? Why is it so fragrant?”

This is one of Xizihao’s hidden, rare teas—the Guanyin Tea,
made from ancient arbor trees near a Guanyin temple in Walong village (Manzhuan).
Only a few dozen cakes were produced back in 2013,
and it has been well-stored in the warehouse ever since.
In the blink of an eye, it’s been 11 years.

We immediately brewed a pot to taste.
After 11 years of aging, it has transformed into what we now call “Perfume Tea”
with floral notes, fruity aromas, and a unique woodsy fragrance...
All of it unfolds richly in the mouth, with a lingering finish that even carries a hint of herbal scent.

Good tea is hard to find; a kindred spirit, even harder."
