Refund policy
Unavailable Teas
Due to the large amount of teas we carry, on a rare occasion, we may declare that a tea is unavailable to find in the warehouse. In such an occurrence, we will contact you for a refund of the cost of the unavailable tea in full or exchange with a tea of equivalent or higher value.
Return/Exchange
Due to the nature of tea being a food product, we are unable to offer returns or refunds. However, please contact us if there is a problem with your order and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Oil spots and imperfections on tea cakes
Please note that due to the natural aging process of tea cakes in Taiwan, some cakes may have oil spots and other imperfections on the cake wrapper. These do not affect the quality of the tea and show good sign of proper aging, so there is no need to worry. Please bare this in mind before you make a purchase on our website.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Resumed to the United States of America
Starting October 23rd 2025, we will resume airmail shipping to the USA through Chunghwa Post. Thank you for those that waited for us to make this announcement.
Order Processing Times
All of our samples and cakes are packaged by hand by our staff in Tainan once an order is confirmed to ensure freshness and best performance of teas. We are a small business that travels with Tony Chen alongst his busy schedule. We will do our best to package and ship your order within 1-15 business days. If we require a bit more time, we will be in contact with you.
Most airmail packages take 1-3 weeks after the package is sent to arrive.
Custom Duties/Taxes
Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for any duties, taxes, or additional fees imposed on parcels upon entering your country. If you have specific requirements regarding declaration or information to be included with your parcel, kindly let us know when placing the order.
Please note that customs authorities may open parcels for inspection of goods. We have zero control over their actions and unable to take responsibility in this case.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If the package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to Taiwan. Please note that we can only take action once the package has been received on our end. Additionally, we are not responsible for any issues that occur post shipping, except in cases when the package is returned to Taiwan.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once the package departs Taiwan, Chunghwa Post relinquishes responsibility for any lost or stolen packages to the shipping agent in the recipient's country.
EMS option or Insurance
If you would like to add insurance, please contact us and we will provide you with an option with Chunghwa Post. Please note that the maximum insurance value for regular airmail is 50,000 NTD. If you would like to ship using EMS, please contact us directly before placing your order online.
