Key Information

Place of Origin: Qiaotoushan (National Protected Forest)

Weight:250g

Overall Experience: semi-aged gushu characteristics (slightly medicinal, overall bright uplifting heavy mouthfeel and many tropical fruity aromatics)

Vintage:2012 Spring

"A lot of tea friends might not be familiar with this area as it's located within the national protected forest, halfway through Yibang Mountain. It is difficult to access the gushu trees (5m-10m tall) as they grow in between thorns and all sorts of unmaintained forest conditions. Also, since these trees produce very tiny buds, (called Chun Rui in Mandarin) most pickers are only able to pick one bud per one leaf."
