"This year’s Laowushan marks the series's fourth year in production since the original was released in spring of 2010. Every production has received tremendous positive feedback and there are 3 causes for this. The first is because the price of the tea has always been lower than the market price for the majority of ancient tea tree productions; the second is because the tea’s performance is not inferior to the performance of famous mountain materials; the third is because the growing environment of the tea is also quite good. This year’s Laowushan has a slightly different profile from the past, as the tea soup is slightly richer with a stronger astringency and bitterness. However, the change from bitter to sweet is quick and the returning rhyme (aftertaste) of floral aromas is very good. A great tea to add to one’s collection or make a thoughtful gift!"
