“A 2013 Xizihao private commission ripe Pu’er tea, “Ganlu” (Sweet Dew). This tea is not on our price list and is normally unavailable.
Back in the day, it was fermented using spring water from Bai Sha spring like Menghai Tea Factory and crafted with old tree tea leaves from Nannuo Mountain’s two tea villages.
• Aka Guniang Village
The fermentation process was overseen by Master Zhao, formerly of the Menghai Tea Factory. To allow for optimal aging, it was only 70% fermented at the time.
Now, after years of transformation, its taste resembles aged raw Pu’er. The tea liquor is rich, sweet, and full-bodied, carrying a unique jujube aroma with hints of glutinous rice fragrance. The cooling aftertaste refreshes the palate, much like the pure essence of “Ganlu” sweet spring water.“
